Position Specific Description

This position provides legal assistance and paralegal support to the company and its law department attorneys. The ideal candidate should have expertise in commercial real estate and title matters, along with experience in either commercial or residential real estate, working with title companies, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
 
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to the following:  
•    Preparation of real estate agreements,
•    Review of documents for real estate acquisitions,
•    Review of title documents and surveys, project finance and file maintenance
•    Performs independent legal research.

Job Overview

Employees in this position are responsible for providing paralegal support to the company and for the attorneys within the law department.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Under limited supervision:

  • Drafts and edits legal documents based on edits and input from corporate attorneys
  • Participates in special projects or activities related to the legal discipline being supported  
  • Performs legal and transaction related research
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 0+ years
Preferred Qualifications
  • Paralegal Certification
