
- Provide support to legal department team members in disputes, administrative proceedings, and litigation related to property management, tenant and vendor disputes, liens, and escalations. Create and maintain various tracking sheets, organize information and documents, and assist with various projects as assigned.
- Support, manage, and track legal functions and workflows–such as real estate licensing compliance, contracts, and dispute tracking–using various applications and tools (e.g., Excel and online software platforms).
- Assist with researching, discovering, and compiling information related to HOAs, disputes, and litigation, including Electronically Stored Information (ESI).
- Draft preliminary summaries, documents, and correspondence for review.
- Communicate internally with various departments and externally with tenants, vendors, outside counsel, and government agencies, as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of law firm paralegal or comparable experience required.
- Experience organizing and summarizing information from multiple sources.
- Experience in drafting correspondence and proofreading.
- Experience in landlord/tenant, real estate licensing compliance or property management preferred.
- Active Notary Public, or willingness and ability to obtain Notary credentials required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and office-related software required.
- General comfort with technology and the ability to learn and use Company platforms, such as Yardi, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM), Legal Tracker, and PowerBI.
- Familiarity with electronic law firm billing and matter management systems preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, planning and analysis skills.
- Strong relationship management, organizational and customer service skills.
- Must be highly organized and able to follow and establish organizational systems.
- Must be proactive in handling matters and able to reliably follow through independently.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

In the states of Colorado, California, Washington, and Illinois; the anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $38.54 - $48.16 per hour. Actual starting pay within this range, will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.
