Join a dynamic law firm seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join its Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice. This role offers the opportunity for significant client interaction, independence, and the chance to make a meaningful impact across various bankruptcy, restructuring, and litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing counsel on critical issues and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Case Management: Handle a wide range of bankruptcy and restructuring cases with autonomy, supported by the Bankruptcy & Restructuring team as needed.
- Court Representation: Make regular court appearances for bankruptcy cases, receiverships, and related litigation.
- Document Preparation: Draft and negotiate forbearance agreements, bankruptcy plans, motions, briefs, expert reports, mediation statements, and other critical legal documents.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively across practice areas to support clients on diverse legal needs.
- Strategic Guidance: Play an integral role in developing and executing strategies for bankruptcy and restructuring cases.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in bankruptcy law or litigation, with a strong understanding of bankruptcy court procedures and local rules.
- Licensure: Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, or Ohio (or a combination of these states).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in preparing and managing legal documentation, with excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with a results-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Preferred: Litigation experience is highly desirable.
