The Garza Law Firm’s Bookkeeper is responsible for managing the firm’s day-to-day financial transactions with precision and discretion, ensuring all records are accurate and compliant with legal and ethical standards. 

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, client billing, and vendor payments.
  • Monitor and track case-related expenses and settlements
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end financial processes
  • Support attorneys and staff with financial inquiries and reports
  • Audit books for accuracy for day-to-day operations and in order to assist CPA.

 

Work Experience:


Required:

  • 2+ years of professional work experience in an office, administrative, legal, or customer service setting
  • Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and ability to manage tasks independently
  • Comfortable working with numbers, data entry, and digital tools
  • Experience handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to learn new software systems—training will be provided for QuickBooks Online and legal billing practices


Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
