At The Law Offices of David L. Carrier, P.C., we help families with estate planning and elder law. One of the most important services we provide is guiding families through the Medicaid application process so their loved ones can get the care they need. We are looking for a detail-oriented, compassionate person to join our Medicaid Team and grow with us.
What You’ll Do:
Welcome new families and guide them through the intake process
Collect, review, and organize financial records and other important documents
Work closely with our drafting team to make sure families’ estate planning needs are covered
Stay in regular contact with clients, families, and caseworkers to keep the process moving
Help prepare and submit Medicaid applications (we’ll train you!)
Keep digital and paper files neat, accurate, and up to date
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort using Microsoft Office and learning new computer systems
A knack for organization, deadlines, and details
A caring, patient personality—especially when working with seniors and families
Someone excited to learn and grow in a professional law office environment

This role is based primarily out of our Grand Rapids office with occasional travel to our Portage, Holland and Norton Shores offices.
