Job Description
- Summary
Perform senior professional level duties on a day-to-day basis to achieve the short and long term goals of the work group.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Documents, maintains, and preserves required records and statistics as it pertains to departmental operations.
- Ensures compliance with any or all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations; policies, and may update staff or work group on applicable changes.
- Recommends and/or develops departmental policies and procedures
- Maintains and updates files.
- Manages special projects as directed.
- Stenographically records testimony of all court proceedings as requested by attorney(s) and/or the Court.
- Performs all other related duties involved in the operation of the business as assigned or required.
- Minimum Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent professional or technical experience.
- Three to five (3-5) years of related experience depending upon educational attainment.
- CSR License issued by the Texas Supreme Court upon completion of Court Reporting School and testing by the Texas Court Reporters Certification Board.

While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, walk, climb, stoop, lift, push and pull.
