About the GR Company
The GR business is separating from Owens Corning and becoming an independent company under the Praana ownership model. GR is building lean, execution-focused legal support to enable compliance and commercial operations.
Purpose of the Role
The Corporate Counsel – United States is a firsthand legal execution role supporting GR’s US commercial and corporate needs. The focus is commercial contracts, corporate legal matters, and regulatory/compliance support. While reporting to the Global CHRO, the role exercises independent legal judgment and partners directly with business leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Contract Support
• Draft, review, and negotiate customer, supplier, vendor, services, and technology contracts
• Support commercial teams and procurement with contracting needs
Corporate, Regulatory & Compliance Support
• Support corporate governance and compliance activities
• Partner with Finance, Tax, and Audit on regulatory requirements
Employment Law Support
• Provide initial guidance on routine employment matters
• Coordinate external counsel for complex issues
External Counsel Coordination
• Manage relationships with US-based external counsel
• Ensure external legal advice is business-ready
Qualifications
• JD from an accredited US law school
• 4–6 years of legal experience
• Strong commercial and corporate legal background
