About the Role

The Corporate Counsel – United States is a hands-on legal execution role supporting OCF’s US commercial and corporate needs. The role focuses on commercial contracts, corporate legal matters, and regulatory and compliance support. Reporting to the Global CHRO, this position exercises independent legal judgment while partnering directly with business leaders to enable practical, risk-aware decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Contract Support

  • Draft, review, and negotiate customer, supplier, vendor, services, and technology agreements

  • Support commercial and procurement teams with day-to-day contracting needs

Corporate, Regulatory & Compliance Support

  • Support corporate governance and compliance activities

  • Partner with Finance, Tax, and Audit on regulatory requirements and obligations

Employment Law Support

  • Provide initial guidance on routine employment law matters

  • Coordinate and manage external counsel for complex employment issues

External Counsel Coordination

  • Manage relationships with US-based external legal counsel

  • Ensure external legal advice is practical, business-oriented, and actionable

Qualifications & Requirements
  • JD from an accredited US law school

  • 4–6 years of legal experience

  • Strong background in commercial and corporate law

  • Experience supporting business-facing legal matters in a corporate environment
