Job Summary:
Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit is growing! A well-established and leading law firm specializing in the representation of condominium and homeowner associations is seeking a full-time Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience. Qualified candidates must be licensed in Illinois and possess litigation experience. Mediation and arbitration experience preferred. Knowledge of and experience with the Illinois Condominium Property Act preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able to efficiently manage multiple projects and exercise good judgment in dealing with highly confidential matters.
The starting annual salary is $100,000. Business hours for this exempt position are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. There is flexibility to transition to a hybrid role after an initial in office training period. Duties/Responsibilities:
· Appear on behalf of clients in courts and administrative hearings throughout the Chicagoland area.
· General civil litigation activities, including drafting pleadings and briefs, drafting and responding to written discovery, conducting depositions, trials, and legal research.
· Participate in all Continuing Legal Education trainings.
· Follow up on multiple, related tasks in a timely manner, ensuring that deadlines are met.
· Work with and support multiple clients simultaneously, ensuring effective communication, timely responses, and personalized service to meet each client's unique needs.
· Any other duties as necessary or required.

License/Certification:
