Reporting to the Office Coordinator, this position is responsible for all services within the office including faxing, photocopying, mail and messenger services as well as front desk reception in the Columbus office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets guests and visitors and answers the main switchboard for the office.
Sorts and logs incoming courier packages for delivery.
Verifies and processes the courier and outside messenger company's invoices.
Expedites all types of incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Records certified, registered, express, insured and negotiable mail.
Assists with maintaining supplies for the office and coordinating with the vendor.
Prepares overnight mail to other offices.
Records personal and client charges for outgoing mail, faxes, photocopying and phones.
May assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Regular attendance and timeliness are required, as well as physical presence at the office.
Acts in accordance with the Firm's policies and procedures.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the secretaries with back up filing and clerical duties.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to multitask. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with firm personnel.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic algebra and business math.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position. The employee must be able to continually operate basic office equipment such as a computer, printer, copy machine, and fax machine.
