We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing support for the legal team in various aspects of corporate, insurance, and other legal matters including filing documentation, organizing and maintaining legal files, and performing a variety of legal related administrative tasks.

This role is hybrid, with a preference for candidates located in the Stevens Point, Milwaukee, or Madison areas of Wisconsin.

What You'll Do:

  • Support commercial contracting and vendor management activities, including gathering input from business stakeholders, coordinating contract execution, tracking key contractual deadlines, and assisting with vendor evaluation processes.

  • Assist with insurance-related filings, including form and rate submissions as well as licensure filings.

  • Support responses to customer security assessments by coordinating information and documentation across internal teams.

  • Assist in managing non-financial audits conducted by regulators or customers, including preparing materials and tracking deliverables.

  • Support entity maintenance processes by monitoring filing deadlines, coordinating submissions, and maintaining required documentation.

  • Assist in administering the company’s government affairs conduit, including processing funding requests and completing necessary filings.

  • Maintain and organize legal databases, document management systems, and the legal and compliance intake system.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and synthesize information for legal, regulatory, and contractual matters.

  • Support ongoing compliance with applicable insurance laws and regulations.
