Summary  

The primary responsibility of the Legal Contract Administrator is to manage legal contracts and agreements between the company and other parties. 

 

Essential Functions 

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients  

  • Ensuring that all contracts and agreements comply with legal requirements and company policies 

  • Maintaining a database of all legal contracts and agreements  

  • Monitoring contract renewal and expiration dates and ensuring that all necessary actions are taken in a timely manner  

  • Coordinating with the legal department and other stakeholders to resolve any contract-related issues or disputes  

  • Communicating with other departments and team members to ensure that all contract terms are understood and followed  

  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Education & Experience 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, contracts management or a related field 

  • 2-4 years applicable job experience 

 

Skills & Competencies  

 

  • Basic technology skills, including MS Office Suite 

  • Professional-level verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate agreement between parties with different perspectives 

  • Knowledge of principles, procedures and best practices in the industry 

  • Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner 

  • High level organizational skills, time management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet deadlines 

  • Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and effectively handle interpersonal relationships with others 

  • Possess a strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be detail-oriented and analytical.  

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) may be preferred.

  •  Pay range: $25 - $30 per hour
