In this role, you will perform substantive legal work under the guidance of our attorneys. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting various legal documents, managing caseloads, and preparing for hearings and trials. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide quality service to clients at a lower billable rate, enhancing the value we deliver.

• Manage and prioritize caseloads, ensuring timely progress.
• Communicate with clients, experts, and other parties to provide updates and gather information.
• Draft and review legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and affidavits.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for mediations and hearings.
• Conduct research and case analysis for trust administration, probate, and conservatorships.
• Maintain records in our case management system.
• Provide feedback on office policies and procedures.

• Associate's Degree in Paralegal/Legal Assistant Studies, Bachelor's Degree, or a minimum of two years' paralegal/legal assistant experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF Software, and Legal Calendaring Software.
• Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot basic issues.

• Experience in a law firm as a legal secretary or legal assistant.
• Familiarity with Clio Manage, Lawya, and Judicial Council Forms.
