An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Sr Paralegal within the Honeywell Legal Department located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our Sr Paralegal will provide general, day-to-day support for the Litigation Center of Excellence, to include the following key responsibilities.
KEY RESONSIBILITIES
- Perform various case management and other related tasks at direction of attorneys
- Support information gathering and document collection for responding to subpoenas and document requests and for preparation of regulatory filings
- Manage legal files and docketing
- Prepare and issue legal holds
- Review and distribute service of process and related legal documents/communications
- Support outside counsel retention processes and procedures
- Support legal department vendors and Honeywell Finance with legal billing processes
- Support M&A due diligence
- Prepare KPIs, metrics, and reporting as needed by the Legal Department and other stakeholders, including internal and external auditors
- Ensure functional compliance to corporate policy and legal department guidelines
- Support ad hoc special projects and initiatives

YOU MUST HAVE
- 3 +years’ experience working as a Paralegal
- Strong matter management (Team Connect or similar), PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams and SharePoint skills/proficiency

- Experience in-house at a public or private company
- Paralegal certification or education
- Knowledge of compliance laws of various countries
