An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Sr Paralegal within the Honeywell Legal Department located in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Our Sr Paralegal will provide general, day-to-day support for the Litigation Center of Excellence, to include the following key responsibilities.

 

KEY RESONSIBILITIES

  • Perform various case management and other related tasks at direction of attorneys
  • Support information gathering and document collection for responding to subpoenas and document requests and for preparation of regulatory filings
  • Manage legal files and docketing
  • Prepare and issue legal holds
  • Review and distribute service of process and related legal documents/communications
  • Support outside counsel retention processes and procedures 
  • Support legal department vendors and Honeywell Finance with legal billing processes 
  • Support M&A due diligence 
  • Prepare KPIs, metrics, and reporting as needed by the Legal Department and other stakeholders, including internal and external auditors 
  • Ensure functional compliance to corporate policy and legal department guidelines 
  • Support ad hoc special projects and initiatives

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3 +years’ experience working as a Paralegal 
  • Strong matter management (Team Connect or similar), PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams and SharePoint skills/proficiency

  • Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field.
  • Experience in-house at a public or private company
  • Paralegal certification or education 
  • Knowledge of compliance laws of various countries
  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to excel within a matrixed and multi-national organization
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills
