Job Description

Associate Attorney / Future Partner Opportunity

Perdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins and Mott L.L.P. seeks a Full-Time Associate Attorney to join its Arlington, Texas office. This position is open to Texas-licensed attorneys, including recent graduates and experienced practitioners, who are interested in a demanding and substantive practice within a well-established law firm.

Associates work closely with partners and senior attorneys and are involved in all phases of litigation from inception through resolution. The Firm maintains a collaborative professional environment and provides formal training and mentorship. There are no billable hour requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

Responsibilities

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery, judgments, and legal memoranda; managing active court dockets in multiple jurisdictions; making court appearances; advising clients on tax and collection-related matters; communicating with opposing counsel and other stakeholders; and assisting with appellate matters as needed.

Associates are also expected to participate in client development and Firm initiatives, including attendance at local and statewide professional events.

Qualifications

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Texas and demonstrate strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. The ability to manage a substantial caseload, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel is essential. Prior legal experience is preferred but not required.
