Amaro Law Firm is an injury law firm based in Houston, Texas, that was founded in 2005 and has offices hubs nationwide. The firm represents individuals involved in catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases, such as truck wrecks, car wrecks, and work accidents. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Full - time receptionist who wants to join a rising legal team that is on the forefront of litigating and trying meaningful cases for the greater good of people.
You must be reliable, passionate, self-motivated, a team-player, and have extensive litigation and/or trial experience. You must also have solid references.
General Purpose
Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and in person. Also, will assist in general administrative support and supply information regarding our law firm to the general public, clients, and customers. Pay commensurate with experience and potential professional growth and opportunities.
Must be proficient in using Microsoft outlook, word, and excel. Must be proficient in use of social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Wordpress, Google + and Twitter. PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN A LAW OFFICE HIGHLY PREFERRED.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- answer telephone, screen and direct calls
- take and relay messages
- provide information to callers
- greet persons entering organization
- direct persons to correct destination
- deal with queries from the public
- monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
- general administrative and clerical support
- receive and sort mail and deliveries
- schedule appointments
- organize conference and meeting room bookings
- maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically
- tidy and maintain the reception area
- use Needles case management software to update client telephone inquiries on status of claim
- Assist in posting information on firm’s social media sites (linkedin, facebook, twitter, wordpress blog).
Education and Experience
- high school diploma generally required
- knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- proficient in use of computers, internet, social media, and relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office
- knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- keyboard skills
