In this role, you’ll work closely with legal team members and cross-functional business partners to manage and run projects and ongoing programs. You’ll help own the processes that enable our team to support strategic enterprise-wide technology deals for tools and services used by global Amazonians, including emerging technologies like AI tools.
The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing, manage high volumes of tasks and projects, react with appropriate urgency depending on circumstances, think creatively and strategically, and exercise strong judgment.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage ongoing programs and cross-functional projects, including stakeholder alignment, timeline management, resource coordination
- Coordinate onboarding, administration and budget tracking of outside counsel (law firm legal support)
- Troubleshoot problems, clearly communicate objectives, and ensure excellence in work product and accountability regarding deliverables
- Identify simplification opportunities and drive change management efforts, including creation of training materials, best practices, and documentation
- Keep team members informed by providing regular updates on progress of important projects
- Evaluate and measure success of projects and ongoing programs to identify anything that requires intervention or changes
- Assist with larger legal team projects and events
About the team
Our Enterprise Tech Sourcing Legal team is a large legal team within AWS Products Legal. We are responsible for negotiating agreements with some of Amazon’s most strategic technology vendors and helping Amazon’s Engine organization develop and deploy emerging technology solutions across Amazon.
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 2+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
