The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Revenue Team Supervisor to lead our team and drive operational excellence within the firm’s revenue cycle. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a talented team, and ensuring compliance with established processes. As a key leader, you will foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, performance development, and delivering top-tier client service. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development: Oversee team operations by managing workflows, setting clear goals, creating schedules, and delegating tasks. Mentor team members through regular performance assessments, identifying growth opportunities, and providing guidance to foster development and productivity.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Play a key role in the recruitment process by participating in interviews and coordinating onboarding with IT and HR. Educate new hires on their role and integrate them into the team with a focus on long-term success.
- Training & Process Improvement: Provide ongoing training in firm software systems, technical skills, and the firm’s revenue cycle. Regularly evaluate and improve processes to drive efficiency, productivity, and compliance with client standards.
- Operations & Compliance Oversight: Oversee daily operations of the revenue team, ensuring that standard operating procedures are followed. Develop, implement, and refine processes that ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution: Act as a go-to resource for team members when issues arise with clients, attorneys, or other departments. Provide proactive guidance to resolve problems and improve service delivery.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain department records and generate both routine and ad-hoc reports for management, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
- Best Practices & Continuous Improvement: Lead regular team meetings to review assignments, foster collaboration, and develop best practices that enhance quality and productivity across the team.
Qualifications
- Preferred Education & Experience: Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 5+ years of management experience within a law firm setting.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in law firms or professional services is a plus, especially with an understanding of law firm revenue cycle and related processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Windows-based software. Familiarity with Billblast, Aderant, Middleware systems, LEDES billing formats, AS400 and Minisoft ARCS is advantageous but not required.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Capable of effectively analyzing situations, identifying potential change, and implementing solutions with a keen attention to detail.
- Organizational Skills: Proven ability to prioritize and delegate tasks in a dynamic, high-volume environment while maintaining productivity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, combined with a clear ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external clients.
- Client Service Orientation: Committed to delivery top-tier service, both to colleagues and external clients.
- Leadership & Initiative: A proactive leader who takes charge of projects, guides team members towards shared goals and continually identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Decision-Making: Ability to make informed, strategic decisions that align with firm objectives and contribute to long-term success.
A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
Salary Range:
$95,000 - $100,000 USD
