What You'll Do
As a Legal Specialist, you will support multiple departments by creating, reviewing, and managing lease and legal documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, reviewing, and processing lease agreements and supporting documentation
- Managing cases, tasks, and workflow requests through Salesforce and other business systems
- Partnering with Fleet Leasing, Owner Operator, Accounting, Fleet Reconditioning, and other departments to facilitate lease onboarding
- Serving as a resource for internal teams regarding lease documentation and legal processes
- Supporting workflow enhancements, automation initiatives, and process improvement projects
- Reviewing documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before execution
- Maintaining organized and accurate legal and lease files
- Responding to customer requests for lease documents and related records
- Assisting with litigation support, audits, subpoenas, and legal documentation requests
- Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting strategic projects, system implementations, and compliance initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance departmental processes

- Strong experience in a legal, contract administration, compliance, or documentation-focused environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle highly confidential information
- A customer-focused mindset and collaborative approach
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Experience with Salesforce, DocuSign, Epicor/Karmak, document management systems, or similar platforms preferred
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field or a high school diploma/GED with equivalent relevant work experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a legal environment
- Experience with legal documentation, contract administration, records management, or lease documentation processes preferred
Additional Information:
This position is based at TEL's corporate headquarters and works in a professional office environment. No travel is required.
We offer a competitive salary range of $58,000 to $65,000, with compensation tailored to reflect your experience, expertise, and the value you bring to the role.
