Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Primary Duties 

  • Inventory and review documents and data produced to contribute to the formulation of forensic investigation conclusions and economic damage calculations 

  • Perform preliminary analyses, clear review comments in a timely manner, communicate findings and observations with appropriate team members 

  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations, expert witness reports, and other client engagement deliverables for accounting investigations and complex commercial litigation matters 

  • Complete ad hoc client and/or industry-specific research 

  • Demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills, knowing when to ask for help 

  • Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality, and personal conduct 

  • January 2027 – June 2027 Internship
  • Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday
  • Designed to provide students with an immersive, semester-long experience with client engagements, investigations, and litigation consulting matters
  • Candidates must be available to work full-time during the duration of the program

 

Preferred Qualifications 

 

  • Working towards a degree in accounting, or related field 

  • Active tracking and pursuit of educational credits required to be CPA-eligible 

  • Work experience in accounting or a related field 

  • Active participation in student organizations 

  • Demonstrated flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary, to meet client needs and engagement deadlines

Minimum Qualifications

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software
