This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). This temporary position is located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County.


Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $25.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).


This temporary position will be assigned to the Governor's Crime Commission. This position is located at 1201 Front St, Raleigh, NC 27609.

Data entry and collection, evaluate submitted modification documents based on the established requirements using checklist, provide guidance regarding updates and resubmission of modifications or requested documents, reviewing responses to modification notices, review and organize requested documentation using document companion guides, maintain program data using spreadsheets, sending communications to program subrecipients, communicating needs to and providing assistance to complete these tasks organizing subrecipient data and budget information, sending program correspondence, attending informative meetings and events. Participation in subrecipient assessments to ensure program requirements. In addition, the position will assist with creation of awards, and a variety of administrative, logistical, and customer service tasks that support the daily functions of the VAWA program and community-based programs partners.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

  • Knowledge and experience with grant management is a plus;
  • A combination of administrative, communication, and organizational skills;
  • Proficient in using office software; have strong written and verbal communication skills,
  • Detail oriented. Some experience with database management and understanding compliance documentation; Time management, attention to detail, and problem solving preferred
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor s degree in a field related to the area of specialization, preferably including course work in methods of social research, from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in a field directly related to the specific program assignment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
