Legal Specialty Projects Contractor 

$20/hour (1099 contract position) 

We are seeking contractors for various legal research projects. This is a 1099 remote/virtual position. Hours are flexible, and the project is best suited for those with 20-30 hours of availability a week. These projects include gathering and reviewing information and data entry into various platforms and templates.  

The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of legal language including statutes and regulations, and ability to follow complex directions. 

Requirements, responsibilities, and duties may include: 

• Authorized to work in the US and US Based 

• Ability to pass a background check 

• Ability to pass an attention to detail assessment 

• Capable of maintaining confidentiality of work materials due to highly sensitive client data 

• Perform online research and data entry 

• Accuracy 

• Pro-active communication with internal team 

• Adhere to policies, procedures, and quality controls 

Skills needed: 

• Strong time management 

• Strong communication skills 

• Computer literacy and experience with MS Office products and Adobe PDFs 

• Strong reading and writing skills 

• Attention to detail and thoroughness 

• Solution-oriented to solve problems with analytical and critical thinking
