Description

The Senior Corporate Counsel will provide legal support to the Company and implement strategic legal initiatives. The Senior Corporate Counsel will be responsible for (a) managing contracts with customers, business partners, vendors, and suppliers; (b) coordinating internally and with outside counsel for litigation, patent, trademark and human resource matters; and (c) assisting with general corporate legal matters.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiation of contracts and agreements with customers and business partners, including master service agreements, supply agreements, distributor agreements, and tolling agreements. 
  • Review and negotiation of agreements with vendors including agreements with raw materials suppliers and agreements for the procurement of equipment, supplies, and services. 
  • Review and negotiation of contracts and other agreements for construction and capital projects.
  • Management of comprehensive master contracts process and tracking system for Company-wide contracts and contract related requirements.
  • Supporting litigation matters and the internal coordination of discovery requests.
  • Researching legal and compliance related issues and providing advice in support of the Company’s compliance initiatives, as requested.
  • Providing research, analysis and advice on general corporate matters, as requested.
  • Other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA certified law school
  • Bar admittance in the State of Oklahoma 
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of direct experience in a similar type of role
  • Ability to take ownership, take initiative and act with urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify problems and efficiently work to implement solutions 
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with Company stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with contract management systems preferred
