Role Overview
This role involves creating, reviewing, and improving tasks that reflect the day-to-day responsibilities of Regulatory and Compliance Counsel. The individual must assess legal scenarios, identify regulatory risks, and ensure every output is accurate, relevant, and practical. Strong legal judgment, attention to detail, and knowledge of compliance frameworks are essential here.
Requirements
Around 10–15 years of experience in regulatory law, compliance, risk management, or related legal advisory roles.
A Juris Doctor (JD), law degree, or equivalent qualification, preferably with specialization or significant experience in regulatory and compliance matters.
Professional compliance certifications such as CCEP, CAMS, or an equivalent regional credential would be an advantage.
Strong expertise in interpreting laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and internal policies, and translating them into practical business requirements.
Proven experience designing, implementing, and improving compliance programs, including policies, controls, monitoring, risk assessments, training, and regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities
Produce high-difficulty expert tasks and gold-standard solutions in the functional area.
Review and calibrate team members' output and own day-to-day quality.
Escalate genuine edge cases and rubric ambiguities to the Functional SME (Expert) Lead.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
