
Position Summary: The Paralegal is primarily responsible for supporting attorneys in the preparation, filing, and management of legal documents while fostering positive relationships with the court and delivering exceptional client service. This role ensures the timely submission of high-quality legal work and plays an active role in case progression, particularly in pre-judgment litigation. The Paralegal collaborates closely with attorneys and operational leadership, manages file communications, and contributes meaningfully to the success of legal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file pre-judgment and post-judgment legal pleadings in compliance with court and client standards.
- Manage active pre-judgment litigation files, including those involving answers and/or counterclaims.
- Monitor and maintain state-specific and client-specific email inboxes, ensuring timely responses and follow-up.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, court clerks, and other stakeholders to support case progression.
- Maintain a working knowledge of legal procedures, remedies, and rules specific to assigned jurisdiction(s).

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- At least a high school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of legal experience preferred.
