
Our firm is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Case Management & Organization
- Organize eDiscovery.
- Review and organize documents produced during discovery.
- Assist with document productions, including redacting, copying, and Bates stamping.
- Create and maintain working files for attorneys.
- Prepare binders and maintain files for hearings, client or case-related meetings, depositions, and trials.
- Use firm operating systems to calendar relevant litigation and related deadlines.
Discovery & Records
- Prepare, respond to, coordinate, and propound written discovery and draft subpoenas.
- Coordinate and communicate discovery and document issues with clients.
- Draft and track authorizations for the release of medical, financial, and/or business records.
Court Filings & Legal Documents
- Prepare case management statements, declarations, and other documentation to be filed with the Court under the supervision of attorneys.
- File documents with the courts.
- Proofread and ensure accuracy and high quality of legal documents.
- Shepardize and cite-check citations in legal briefs and other filings.
Research
- Research public records using public websites.
Trial Support
- Attend and assist at trial.
General
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

5+ years of litigation experience
A bachelor’s degree or a Paralegal certificate is a plus
Experience with Lexis and Westlaw
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Experience working with e-discovery software is required
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and able to meet deadlines
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Strong proofreading skills
Proven ability to communicate effectively and establish professional working relationships with colleagues and external clients
Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks at one time, and perform well in stressful situations
Good judgment in solving problems and resolving conflicts
