Florida Real Estate Litigation Attorney

NM Residential is seeking an experienced Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join our team, focusing on real estate and contract litigation.

The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, excellent judgment, and the proven ability to manage cases from inception through resolution. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about real estate law and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of real estate and contract litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related real estate documents
• Provide strategic legal advice and risk analysis related to property ownership, leasing, and development
• Represent the company in disputes involving property transactions, construction, landlord-tenant matters, and contract enforcement
• Manage outside counsel as needed and coordinate with internal stakeholders
• Maintain detailed case records and ensure compliance with applicable laws, procedures, and deadlines

Qualifications

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensure: Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate and contract litigation
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Florida real estate law, civil procedure, and contract principles
• Skills:

• Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy abilities

• Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities professionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling both commercial and residential real estate matters
• Background in property management or construction law
