Job Description

Akerman is seeking a full-time Office Services Clerk for its Houston office.  Duties of this position include: 

  1. mail processing
  2. sorting and delivery of mail
  3. conference room set up/clean up
  4. inner-office moves
  5. copy jobs/document productions
  6. reception desk coverage
  7. special projects as assigned

The successful candidate should be highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency and be well organized in a fast-paced environment.

The Office Services Clerk work schedule will be 40 hours Monday through Friday with occasional overtime hours. Hours for this position will be 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

We require a minimum of one (1) year experience in a general office or customer service oriented role. Qualified candidates must have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and be able to comfortably lift twenty-five (25) to thirty (35) lbs. The ability to develop rapport with employees while exhibiting excellent customer service is important.
