Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Develop and implement removal defense strategies for clients.
Represent clients in immigration court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders.
Prepare and file legal briefs, motions, and appeals.
Stay current with changes in immigration law and regulations.
Manage caseload and meet deadlines for court appearances and filings.
Ensure transparent and accurate billing for services provided
Additional related duties as required.
Required qualifications skills
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to a state bar.
Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing immigration law, with a focus on removal defense
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Commitment to social justice and serving immigrant communities.
Active Texas Bar License.
Preferred Qualifications
Skilled in preparing legal briefs, client declarations, and conducting hearings.
Proficiency in legal case management software.
Familiarity with forms of relief such as asylum, cancellation of removal, SIJS, and VAWA.
Key Performance Indicators
Training Effectiveness: Evaluates performance improvement and knowledge retention following training, ensuring all sessions are up-to-date and impactful.
Compliance Rate: Measures adherence to legal standards, court requirements, and internal deadlines, ensuring accuracy and legal integrity in all cases.
Operational Efficiency: Assesses how well internal processes and workflows are optimized to manage resources and time effectively.
Case Resolution Time: Tracks the average time taken to complete a case from intake to final resolution.
Client Satisfaction: Measures the level of satisfaction among clients receiving legal services, based on feedback, surveys, and service experience.
