Job Title: Senior Paralegal - Personal Injury

Location: Open to candidates from South Africa and Latin America Work Schedule: EST hours Salary Range: $1,300 - $2,000 Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Paralegal with extensive experience in personal injury law, including auto accidents and other physical injury cases. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented professional capable of providing comprehensive support to our legal team. You will play a crucial role in managing the entire case lifecycle, from initial intake to final settlement.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Management & Documentation:
  • Manage and organize all case-related documents, including medical records, police reports, and correspondence.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate case files, ensuring all information is current and easily accessible.
  • Utilize legal case management software to track deadlines and case progress.
• Legal & Administrative Support:
  • Draft a variety of legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal and factual research to support attorneys in case preparation.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness lists.
• Client & Third-Party Communication:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates and addressing their questions.
  • Communicate with insurance companies, medical providers, and opposing counsel to gather information and negotiate settlements.
• Reporting & Compliance:
  • Assist with lien resolution and settlement disbursement.
  • Ensure all case activities and documentation comply with relevant legal standards and firm policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a focus on personal injury law.
• Proven background in handling auto insurance and physical injury cases is required.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload in a remote environment.
