
To provide administrative assistance and clerical support to the Vice President of Legal Services and to the department as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Provide all secretarial services to assigned supervisor including but not limited to typing, calendaring, scheduling meetings and appointments, filing, document and spreadsheet preparation, data entry, file preparation, travel coordination and payment processing.
- Prepare monthly reports as required.
- Serve as the liaison with other departments, as needed or requested.
- Assist in training of new staff, as needed or requested.
- Calculate and process payroll for department
- Perform administrative duties which are required by the department, as requested.
- Maintain excellent attendance and compliance with department and Carnival policies.
- Approve supply orders. Review and question any out of the ordinary items being ordered.
- Perform any other duty or task assigned by senior management which benefits the goals or objectives of the Department
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Business Administration
- 5-7 years senior level administrative support. C Level experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication, written skills, customer service skills, organization skills. Ability to multitask. Ability to communicate with other departments at all levels. Ability to work in a confidential environment.
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, etc.). Be proficient in all departmental and necessary CCL computer systems and databases, including document retrieval.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel: No or very little travel likely
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
