Job Description

Airrosti is seeking a part-time Legal Assistant to support our legal and compliance functions. This role requires someone with prior legal experience, exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to handle a wide range of administrative and operational tasks in a dynamic environment.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Legal Invoice Management: Review, track, and process legal invoices. Coordinate with legal vendors and internal accounting team to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM): Support the Legal Department in tracking, reviewing, and maintaining contracts through all stages, including signature and renewal.
  • State Registrations and Annual Reports: Maintain state registrations and prepare annual report filings across multiple jurisdictions to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Risk Management Support: Track and maintain records of risk management reports, ensuring timely updates and internal distribution as needed.
  • Lease Administration Support: Assist with lease tracking and documentation.
  • Document and File Management: Organize and maintain legal files, ensuring version control and accessibility.
  • Communication: Act as a point of contact between the legal department and internal/external stakeholders. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Ad hoc support: Provide flexible assistance on various legal and compliance projects, including research, scheduling reporting, and process improvements.

Required Skills:

  • Prior experience working in a legal, compliance or healthcare setting, strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, experience with legal billing and CLM tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and maintain attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $25.00-26.00 per hour depending on experience (20-25 hours per week)
