Note: The first 90 days will be fully onsite. After 60 days, a hybrid schedule may be discussed.
Job Description
The Arizona Department of Child Safety (AZDCS) is seeking a detail-oriented PSRT Legal Assistant to support the PSRT team. This role involves working with legal documentation and ensuring compliance with statutory and procedural requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize computer-based systems to locate and verify legal documents.
- Review and interpret legal language to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Accurately update database fields based on findings from legal documents.
- Enter verified names into the Child Abuse Central Registry following due process confirmation.
- Maintain accuracy in identifying the correct individuals and incidents within documents.
- Create, update, and manage large Excel spreadsheets.
- Track multiple tasks and pending items, ensuring timely follow-up and completion.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of court language and petitions
- Excellent reading comprehension
- Strong computer literacy and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
