
Summary
The Transactional Attorney oversees complex real estate and financial transactions across the organization. This person will report directly to the General Counsel and will handle a wide range of business transactions including complex real estate, management and financial transactions across multiple states. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting, negotiating, and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of regulations effecting health care delivery systems.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Review, draft and negotiate contracts including joint operating agreements, real estate acquisitions, disposition, leases and contracts between providers and vendors.
Perform due diligence, research and interpret laws and regulations to reduce risk and guide informed decisions.
Assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing complex health care transactions.
Collaborate with operational business leaders to ensure alignment with legal requirements and business goals.
Negotiate with opposing counsel.
Stay up to date on relevant laws, regulations and industry trend to provide informed legal advice.

Customer Service Responsibilities

Essential Job Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.)
Possess a minimum of 5-10 experience as a transactional attorney with proven experience handling complex business transactions
Experience and proficiency in drafting Healthcare and Real Estate transactions.
Knowledge of Healthcare Regulations
Strong academic and professional credentials.
Excellent drafting, negotiating and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and writing skills.
Ability to collaborate with other team members of the legal team and staff throughout the organization
