Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in civil litigation and workers’ compensation matters before state courts and administrative agencies.
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs.
Assist with depositions, witness preparation, and court hearings.
Provide legal counsel and strategy to clients under the supervision of senior attorneys.
Maintain organized case files and document time in accordance with billing requirements.
Attend settlement conferences, mediations, and administrative hearings as required.
Collaborate with team members to achieve successful client outcomes.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
3-5 years of experience preferred in civil litigation or workers’ compensation
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
High ethical standards and professional integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in workers’ compensation defense or personal injury litigation is a plus.
Familiarity with Virginia court procedures and rules of evidence.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed Virginia attorney with 3-5 years of experience, although more seasoned attorneys are also welcome to apply.
