Paralegal – Construction Litigation

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to support the Chair of our Construction Practice Group in the Orlando office.

Your Role:

As a Paralegal in the Construction Litigation group, you’ll play an essential role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation. This includes:

  •  Preparing and organizing legal documents, pleadings, discovery, and case files

  •  Summarizing medical records, deposition transcripts, and construction reports

  •  Drafting and responding to discovery and subpoenas

  •  Assisting with trial preparation and exhibit organization

  •  Managing deadlines, docketing, and litigation calendars

  •  E-filing documents in Florida state courts

  •  Supporting attorneys in hearings, depositions, and mediations

Qualifications:

✔️ Experience:

  • 4+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in construction defect litigation or civil defense

  • Experience handling high-volume, complex litigation cases

✔️ Skills:

  • Proficiency in Florida e-filing systems

  • Familiarity with subpoena processes, construction terminology, and litigation timelines

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

✔️ Technology:

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Experience using legal case management software preferred

✔️ Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Paralegal certificate preferred
