Duties This position is located under the Office of the Director in Washington, District of Columbia. Monitors and assesses changes or potential changes in law enforcement policies and initiatives affecting both ATF and DOJ as a whole through continuing contact with senior representatives of law enforcement agencies. Conducts ongoing assessments of trends related to ATF programs and mission and performs special assignments for the Assistant Director (Field Operations) and the Director/Deputy Director. Serves as a liaison between local, tribal, State, and other Federal agencies on issues that require coordination between ATF and the Office of Strategic Intelligence and Information's International Affairs Division country attaches for offices outside the United States. Conducts short- and long-range planning for overall goals and objectives in response to changes in funding levels, policy, or legislation pertaining to programs and projects. Salary- $167,603 - $195,200/year
