Hougum Law Firm, LLC is growing and looking for an Estate Administration Legal Assistant to join our team full-time! This position will be a mix of remote and onsite work at our Wausau, Wisconsin office.
Ideal candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience in property and deed research and transfers, preferably in the financial services industry. Strong attention to detail, ability to pick up new software/systems quickly, and ability to manage multiple projects are also required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research.
- Assist in document review and management for probate and estate administration cases.
- Support attorneys with drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Utilize organizational skills to maintain case files and ensure accuracy of information.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate efficient case progression.
- Demonstrate proficiency in legal administrative tasks and procedures.
