Legal Research and Writing Clinical Professor

We are pleased to announce LMU Loyola Law School, Los Angeles will be hiring a full-time Clinical Professor to join our Legal Research and Writing (LRW) team beginning in the 2025–2026 academic year. The Clinical Professor will teach two sections of our year-long required, first-year LRW course. In addition, the professor will teach one other course, in accordance with the professor’s interests and the school’s needs.

Hiring salary range for this position is $115,000 - $156,000. Salary and rank will be commensurate based on experience.  Minimum qualifications are a J.D. from an accredited law school as well as strong writing and interpersonal skills.  Preferred qualifications include prior teaching, prior practice experience, a judicial clerkship, outstanding academic credentials, and a demonstrated interest in legal writing.
