As a member of the Office of Human Resources (OHR) senior management team, the Staff Services Manager (SSM) III provides managerial direction and policy guidance over the Workday Teams and the Data Analytics Unit. You will provide vision and direction to two subordinate supervisors, collaboratively creating and implementing a vision for successful service to employees and DOJ leaders. You will serve as a consultant for OHR leadership on the administration of HR technology initiatives and be an expert resource on HR data and technology policies, processes, and best practices.
Working Conditions
This position has been designated as eligible for telework and is currently a remote centered position. The position will require in-person attendance on a recurring basis. The selected candidate would report to Department of Justice headquarters in Sacramento when required for job functions, in-person meetings, trainings, etc. Expenses related to travel to the office when required are the responsibility of the employee. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.
Please note that all new-to-state employees will be given the minimum salary of the classification. For current state employees and/or those with reinstatement rights, your salary will be determined in accordance with the applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
