
St. Luke’s Health System seeks a Deputy General Counsel to join our Legal team to provide all manner of litigation and high-level legal support for St. Luke's medical staff affairs including but not limited to medical staff issues, provider relations, physician contracting, and consultation on malpractice litigation.
What You Can Expect:
- Handles both complex and general legal matters in medical staff affairs.
- Serves as a subject matter expert and acts as a resource to other in-house attorneys and legal team members.
- Protects company rights in contract negotiations, settlement, and litigation.
- Responsible for defense of company in cases of litigation.
- Assesses and ensures the organization operates in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Responsible in coordination with General Counsel for performance management for legal staff members.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree: J.D. or LL.M.
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- Must be a member of the Idaho Bar within one year.
