
Job Description
The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:
- Review, edit, and process invoices for assigned billing attorneys.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of client terms, discount arrangements, and guidelines.
- Respond to requests from billing attorneys, clients, and staff related to billing.
- Follow-up with billing attorneys to ensure timely processing of bills
- Research and resolve billing-related issues
- Monitor the status of pre-bills, identify issues, and resolve aged unbilled items.
- Provide overflow support to other billing team members.
- Additional billing projects/tasks may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to handle voluminous workflow and prioritize workload and requests to meet deadlines
- 2 years’ experience in similar billing role within a Law Firm
- Must be proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills and accuracy are a must
- Must be proactive, work well under pressure, and excel in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and have the ability to multi-task
- Professional and courteous communication with clients, attorneys, and staff is a must
- Aderant experience preferred
