
Paralegal/Senior Legal Assistant – Replevin

What You’ll Do
As a Paralegal/Senior Legal Assistant, you’ll play a critical role in preparing, reviewing, and processing legal documents, ensuring compliance, managing deadlines, and maintaining top-tier client communication. Your key responsibilities will include:
Client Interactions (40%)
Monitor and update client portals with milestone completions and documentation
Communicate professionally with clients via email, phone, and intercom systems
Respond promptly to client status reports and document requests
Escalate title, AOM, and executable needs to meet jurisdictional deadlines
Compliance & Legal Documentation (40%)
Conduct SCRA and PACER searches
Draft, review, and process legal documents (Complaints, Judgments, POCs, MFRs)
Maintain internal case management systems with accurate deadlines and status updates
Ensure filings meet jurisdictional and client-specific compliance standards
Administrative & Team Support (20%)
Manage daily workflows and work queue reports
Participate in team goal-setting and performance initiatives
Mentor and train new hires
Communicate regularly with attorneys and leadership
Support additional administrative tasks as needed
What You Bring
Required Experience:
Legal Assistant experience in a default or replevin law firm; or
Paralegal certificate from an accredited program (Preferred)
Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Skills & Attributes:
High attention to detail and error-free data entry
Strong customer service and organizational skills
Advanced computer literacy (MS Office, Adobe/Nuance PDF)
Ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment
Familiarity with PACER and loan documentation
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Technology Requirements
Proficiency in:
Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
Adobe/Nuance Power PDF
Case management systems and client platforms
