Benesch is proud to announce the opening for an HR Administrator in our Cleveland office! This position is hybrid and has work from home flexibility.
Position Summary:
Are you a process driven, analytical thinker? Are you well versed in recordkeeping, analyses and reporting and arranging logistics? Then our HR Administrator opportunity is the position for you! This role is for the individual who wants to work with data, transferring of information and data management to maintain Benesch's HR data's integrity and accuracy and supporting smooth HR operations.
The HR Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department, with a primary focus on the administration of performance management processes, HRIS data management and maintenance, reporting, compliance, recordkeeping, and other data-driven tasks.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares and executes HR documents memorializing changes in an employee's status, compensation, location, title or other updates.
- Processes changes within the Firm's notifications system ensuring all departments firmwide are made aware of pertinent changes or departures.
- Calculates and adjusts annual PTO balances, unused PTO payouts, and rollovers when applicable.
- Enters, updates, and maintains accurate employee data in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Prepares regular and ad-hoc HR reports, primarily for the monthly HR newsletter.
- Supports data analysis projects to identify trends and insights for HR leadership.
- Completes the annual EEO-1 reporting.
- Oversees the setup and administration of the support staff performance appraisal processes.
- Ensures the timely completion, review, and return of performance evaluations.
- Manages the setup, roll-out, and completion of required compliance trainings including but not limited to Harassment Prevention, Bystander Intervention, and various required California trainings.
- Assists with audits and maintains training records in alignment with compliance requirements.
- Maintains the Firm's organizational charts.
- Administers the Firm's tuition reimbursement program.
- Maintains and organizes electronic employee files and documentation.
- Creates and maintains process documentation for areas of responsibility.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Human Resources Administrator must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience. 5 years of well-rounded HR experience is preferred.
Essential skills include exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, integrity in handling sensitive information, and a drive to ensure complete and total accuracy across systems. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office is required. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred.
