Description:

  • Assist Legal Team with overseeing and organizing the legal department work flows
  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Manage relationship with Registered Agent for Corporate notices
  • Assist with the review, tracking, and organization of corporate leases, amendments, and related legal documents
  • Partner with the Finance Team to coordinate CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations, including review of landlord statements and validation of charges against lease terms
  • Maintain accurate lease abstracts and key date tracking, ensuring timely notice and compliance with contractual obligations
  • Manage and update the document repository for leases and other corporate agreements; ability to manage online data rooms in connection with transactions
  • Assist with drafting and reviewing routine legal documents and correspondence
  • Manage relationship with Registered Agent for corporate notices and service of process
  • Prepare summaries and reports to support lease administration and finance-related decision-making
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Operations) to streamline workflows and improve process efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements


 

  • 5+ years of experience  with commercial leases 
  • Paralegal certificate or Bachelors degree
  • Prior merger and acquisition, real estate lease and/or general insurance experience is a plus
  • Must be comfortable in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.
  • Strong organization, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Comfortable interacting with healthcare professionals
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
