Job Description

Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on U.S. Immigration Attorney to launch and lead a new Arizona-based immigration law practice. This senior-level role combines legal expertise, operational leadership, and business development. The selected individual will be responsible for building a compliant, scalable legal function while also serving clients directly, growing the firm’s book of business, and aligning operations with a global platform.

This is a foundational role ideal for a driven attorney who wants to build something new—with the infrastructure and support of a global market leader.

Key Responsibilities

Firm Establishment & Strategic Growth

· Lead the launch of an Arizona-based Alternative Business Structure (ABS) immigration law firm in coordination with executive leadership
· Build and scale a compliant, high-performing legal function tailored to Arizona regulatory requirements
· Develop and execute a strategic plan for organic business growth, including marketing, client acquisition, and practice development
· Represent the firm in industry and professional networks to build brand recognition and thought leadership

Legal Counsel & Client Services

· Provide expert legal counsel on a broad range of business immigration matters including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3, PERM, I-140, I-485
· Draft, review, and submit petitions and applications to USCIS, DOL, and other agencies
· Advise clients on immigration strategies, timelines, risk management, and regulatory compliance
· Act as lead attorney for key corporate accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery

Compliance & Risk Management

· Monitor U.S. immigration policy developments and ensure timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders
· Maintain rigorous quality control and ensure ethical standards are upheld across the practice

Team Development & Operations

· Help design and implement workflows, systems, and best practices for case management and client service
· Support recruiting, training, and mentoring of legal and support staff as the team grows over time
· Collaborate with internal legal, technology, and client service teams to integrate Arizona operations into the broader global platform

Qualifications

Required

· Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
· Active license to practice law in Arizona
· Minimum 5 years of recent experience in U.S. business immigration law, with deep knowledge of both nonimmigrant and immigrant processes
· Proven experience in advising corporate clients on immigration strategy and compliance
· Demonstrated ability to lead legal operations and manage high-stakes client relationships
· Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building or expanding a practice area or client base

Preferred

· Experience working within a multinational legal or immigration services firm
· Familiarity with global mobility programs and cross-border immigration issues
· Experience with legal practice management and immigration technology platforms
· Prior experience launching or managing a legal office or practice
