Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Location: Garland, TX
Compensation: $75,000-95,000
Requirements: 5+ years
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-time Litigation Paralegal specializing in Personal Injury cases to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in litigation and pre-litigation processes, with a focus on personal injury cases. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple cases, support attorneys, and interact professionally with clients, insurance companies, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
Key Responsibilities- Ability to handle a high-volume caseload.
- Managing a case load from intake and opening through settlement and closing.
- Contact clients, insurance companies and medical providers.
- Order medical records from providers and communicate with clients and providers during the course of treatment.
- Obtain documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions.
- Interact with insurance carriers and medical providers to secure records and account balances.
- Contact insurance companies to determine coverages and policy limits.
- Maintain organized case files.
- Draft litigation complaints, discovery responses
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in PI pre-litigation & litigation
- Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
- Must have strong work ethic and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have great people skills as the position requires a great deal of client contact.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to prioritize work and work under pressure.
