Contracts Consultant Service Center Division
MEPPI's Service Center Division specializes in providing comprehensive maintenance, repair, and support services for a wide range of power products and systems. Our division is dedicated to ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and longevity of MEPPI's products.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Contracts Consultant to provide contract interpretation, negotiation support, and risk analysis for MEPPI Services. In this role, you will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with company policies and objectives.
What You Will Do:

Review & Interpret Contracts Analyze Service Orders, Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Supplier Contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and risk tolerance.
- Support ASP Agreements Provide contract review and support for Authorized Service Provider (ASP) Agreements to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Perform Risk Analysis Identify potential risks in contracts and provide recommendations to management to keep agreements within the Company Limits of Authority policy.
- Lead Contract Negotiations Participate in direct negotiations with customers and suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with Legal & Management Work closely with the Corporate Contracts Manager and in-house Legal Counsel to address complex contractual issues.
- Provide Training & Guidance Conduct contractual terms and conditions training for both Service and Supplier Contracts within the Service Center Division.
- Support Key Contract Processes Upon request, review Red Books, requisitions, and purchase orders to support the General Manager in contract decision-making.
What You Will Bring:

Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with commercial contracts for international equipment and services sales, or equivalent education and experience.
- Expertise in Contract Language Advanced knowledge of contract development, interpretation, and negotiation techniques.
- Strong Negotiation Skills Proven ability to negotiate commercial terms and conditions with both customers and suppliers.
- Excellent Communication & Presentation Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, employees, and vendors.
- Multitasking & Teamwork Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Technical Proficiency Advanced computer skills with expertise in MS Office products and experience working with ERP and/or CRM systems.
