Job Description

Lido Advisors, LLC, a well-established and rapidly growing wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Lawyer to join our fast-paced, dynamic team. This role will involve partnering with advisors and clients to provide comprehensive estate planning, including the development of advanced estate planning structures and the drafting of essential documents. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing estate planning documents for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives for HNW and UHNW clients. 
  • Conduct Attorney Engagement Meetings with clients, assess their needs, and develop and craft estate planning strategies.  
  • Partner with Wealth Managers and Advisors to educate clients on matters of estate planning. 
  • Keep up to date with legal issues affecting our areas of practice. 
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues related to trusts and estates. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. 
  • Deep experience in estate planning – including trusts, wills, advance medical directives, and work with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. 
  • Demonstrated successful results navigating and solving complex estate planning.   
  • Sophisticated communication and influencing skills on complex issues. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Must be highly organized, technically strong and be an enthusiastic, effective team leader. 
  • Experience with Excel/Word/Outlook/Salesforce/PowerPoint, with an emphasis on Excel.
