
As a Paralegal, you will provide legal support on a broad spectrum of contract matters focusing on customer arrangements and compliance management for The Pittsburgh Paints Co.
We are looking for someone that will be a commercially minded individual that can work effectively with business clients in a cross-function, collaborative and fast-paced environment.
You will report to the Chief Legal Officer and report out of The Pittsburgh Paints Co.’s headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, with the opportunity to work remotely two days a week. This is a hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with The Pittsburgh Paints Co.’s CLO to review, draft, negotiate and manage various commercial agreements with an emphasis on customer and vendor arrangements.
- Assist The Pittsburgh Paints Co.’s CLO in compliance monitoring, including developing training materials for compliance training, organizing and managing files related to compliance investigation and supporting the compliance monitoring process to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining a database of open employment and compliance matters, including opening new and closed resolved matters, tracking case updates and preparing periodic reports.
- Support organization-wide legal projects and initiatives.
- Provide assistance on additional matters as needed and directed by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Paralegal Certificate a plus).
- At least three years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house.
- Ability to interact effectively and efficiently with business partners.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Professional or similar tools.
- Must be able to handle highly sensitive and confidential issues with discretion.
