The opportunity:

Uphold is looking for a Senior Paralegal to join our Legal team. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity where you’ll be responsible for acting as project manager for international corporate formations and regulatory filings, driving the company’s international expansion.  Reporting to the Senior Counsel, the Legal Admin will play an integral role in ensuring the organization meets its financial and strategic objectives.

What you’ll be doing primarily:

  • Regulatory submissions support: Assist with the preparation, completion, and coordination of regulatory forms, schedules, and supporting materials (including first-pass completion, maintaining trackers, version control, and ensuring internal review/approvals are captured).
  • Document management: Collect, organise, label, and maintain supporting documentation and evidence in a structured repository; ensure materials are complete, current, and audit-ready.
  • Information gathering & stakeholder coordination: Coordinate collection of information and documentation from internal teams and key stakeholders; follow up to meet deadlines and ensure completeness/accuracy.
  • Cross-functional liaison: Act as a liaison between Legal and other functions (e.g., Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Risk, IT/Security) to help unblock requests quickly.
  • Governance & legal operations (as needed): Support board/committee materials and logistics when required; maintain and improve legal team processes, templates, and filing systems.
  • General legal support: Provide administrative and paralegal support to the Legal team as needed, including responding to internal requests and assisting with contract/document workflows during peak periods.
  • Managing the workflow and lifecycle of all contracts the company enters into.

Required qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree; Paralegal certification preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in a paralegal, legal operations, or legal support role (in-house and/or law firm).
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills; comfortable handling sensitive/confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets (trackers, logs, version control).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exhibit our core cultural values: clear communication, positive energy, continuous learning, and efficient execution.

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience with capital markets, cryptocurrencies,  and/or blockchain technologies.
  • Experience supporting regulatory filings / licensing applications in financial services, fintech, payments, or other regulated environments.
  • Experience building or running document repositories, contract lifecycle workflows, and legal intake processes.
  • Familiarity with corporate records, ownership/shareholder information, and governance documentation.

What we have to offer you:

  • An amazing work environment in a company that continues to grow, driven by extraordinary and passionate people that keep up innovating and challenging more each day.
  • An international team, in a cutting edge field, working on the most fascinating projects.
  • Growth and career opportunities, and the chance to be proactive and creative.
  • A flexible and enthusiastic work environment that offers you snacks, a lot of coffee and other great benefits.
  • Open and transparent culture - we get together on a weekly basis to share updates, strategic plans, and engage with each other informally over food and drinks.
  • Interesting events that keep you connected with the team and celebrate our success.

Salary: 90,000 +
